This post shows the results for the regional women’s tournaments held on Vancouver Island. The earliest tournament, the Victoria City and District Ladies Amateur, began in 1920. In 1933, the CLGU BC Branch was formed and created two divisions in BC: The Vancouver Island division and the Mainland division. In 1955, the Mainland divided to form two separate divisions: the Mainland and the Interior. In 1974, the CLGA BC Branch changed these three divisions into nine districts. District One and District Six were the districts on Vancouver Island.
